This stunning new build, located on the hillside in the prestigious suburb of Hamilton, takes full advantage of its fantastic views overlooking the city, racecourse, and western suburbs. Designed to maximise the site, the home spans three stories, with a basement and home theater, seamlessly integrated into the hillside.
The project posed unique challenges, with a cliff at the rear and a cantilevered pool, concrete planter boxes, and roofs all requiring fully suspended slab construction. Limited site access and tricky geotechnical conditions added complexity, but GDS overcame these by securing all footings into Brisbane Tuff Bedrock for a strong, stable foundation.
